Assist with outside calls and internal calls. Internally, I deal with arranging OR teams for surgeries, paging doctors, paging hospital codes such as Code Blues, Team Alerts, Rapid Responses and Stroke Alerts. I also have responsibility of dispatching security and engineering for any hospital matters. Externally, I help route patient calls to whatever department their needs require, such as making appointments, checking lab results or checking on their prescriptions.
